How we operate

We work on the firm understanding that everyone at D&PI should count as part of the production effort, and so our entire staff is involved one way or the other in the setting up and throughput of client work. We operate a computerised estimating system and aim to respond to price enquiries very quickly. In general our starting point is the receipt of files on disk or transferred electronically although our studio offers an origination service when needed.

Investing in people and plant

Because we are a small and experienced team, we can give our close and personal attention to every job - from processing an initial proof, through platemaking, on to the press, into finishing and finally delivery. Timing, attention to detail and achieving consistently high print and finishing standards is paramount to our operation. Behind this determined attitude is continual investment in the best plant. We have recently installed our new state-of-the-art 6-colour, B2 Heidelberg Speedmaster 74, a computerised guillotine and Heidelberg B1 cutting and creasing cylinder.

Security

We have a secure site with our own internal and external CCTV providing the confidentiality of customer sensitive material. Railtrack also provides 24 hour CCTV to external approaches.
